How it works
Ordering your Pet Portrait is easy, send a photo of your pet via email and I’ll guide you through the rest.
Contact me to enquire about frame sizing or queries about including more animals per drawing.
For every sale, a percentage of profits are donated to Paws Pet Therapy which trains and supports volunteers to carry out safe and enjoyable pet-assisted therapy visits to people with a range of needs and to promote the benefits and magic of pet-assisted therapy
Pencil Portrait.
Pencil Pet portraits are illustrated with the use of fine arts quality pencils on 230 gsm archival paper.
Standard commission sizes are:
A4 Paper Size- 21.0 x 29.7cm- $200
A4 Paper Size in A3 Mountboard - 29.7 x 42cm- $250
A3 Paper Size- 29.7 x 42 cm- $400
A3 Paper Size in A2 Mountboard- 42.0 x 59.4cm- $450
Oil Painting.
Custom paintings are created with Winsor & Newton oil colour paints on a stretched canvas panel.
Standard commission sizes are:
41cm (L) x 30.9cm(W)- $500
60cm (L) x 50cm (W)- $600
Custom sizes available on request
Resolution Note: Please note, that for each pencil portrait a border will be allowed for potential future framing, for example an A4 work will be the total size of an A3 size
The Reference Photo Process.
Email through a reference photo to get started.
Photography Tip: Aim to capture your pet looking up at the camera. Also, the best lighting to use is natural and soft in order to reflect the most detail.
If you require help with choosing from your amazing photos, send through your final selection and I will choose the best one for you.
Shipping
Shipped throughout Australia and internationally. Package & Handling are not included in the pet portrait prices.
Payment
Payment can be made via PayPal or direct debit.
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The prices are based on the materials and the time it takes for me to best represent your pet in a custom portrait.
Postage
Postage quotes are dependent upon location. All posts will include insurance, tracking, bubble wrap and be identified as fragile.
To enquire about pricing for postage contact me via email as it is proportionate to the size of each print.
The packaging of A3 paintings will be arranged in cardboard with bubble wrap internal protection.
Return & Refunds
The work is to be returned in the same manner that it was packed prior to the damage. It is expected that photos are to be included as documentation of the damage and sent via email prior to returning the print. The return and refund policy is dependant upon the conditions of each individual purchase. Costs of return postage are to be made by the buyer which is to encompass insurance.
Framing
Framing is also available upon request. Frames range from a variety of white, black or oak hues. If you would like your work framed, please note that a professional framer is outsourced and for each print, a matt board within the frame, all framing features include ultimately providing a fine resolution to your custom print. Custom frames are priced from $90 to $200 depending on the scale of the painting.
